This home science video shows that fluid pressure increases with depth. This is because the height of the water increases and the amount of water above increases. Thus, the pressure increases. Here, we have joined two 2 litre bottles together and made 2 holes- one at the top and one at the bottom. We have filled 2 balloons with air and put them on both the holes. We have separated the balloons with the bottle with pins. Then, we filled the bottle with water. When we opened the pin at the top, the air in the balloon bubbled out of the bottle and when we opened the pin at the bottom the water filled up the balloon. This is due to different pressures.
